Jill is a limited edition porcelain doll from the Signature Series Collection of Award Winning Dolls by Seymour Mann, and is designed by Israeli doll artist, Edna Dali.
This doll stands approximately 21 inches tall, and makes a considerable statement displayed. She has golden blonde hair curled in an upsweep hairdo and amber eyes. She is porcelain, soft body. Dressed in beige lace dress trimmed with peach colored flowers and complemented with lace stockings and cream sift shoes; she wears a floral trimmed hat atop her head and carries a matching closed parasol in her hand.
This is really a lovely and engaging doll. Very distinctive and charming is the positioning of her head. She has been specially molded with her head cocked to the side. This is a touch not only of naturalism, but also of innocence.
Edna Dali has achieved considerable worldwide recognition for her highly original, unique dolls. They are represented in the finest shops, galleries and museums. She graduated from Ben-Gurion University in Israel, and eventually continued her studies in the United States. Her studio pieces range in the thousands of dollars.
