    NEW ICOM IC-7100 custom vehicle car marine mobile mount RAM compatible IC7100
    This auction is for one ICOM IC-7100 mobile mount based on the
    RAM mounting systems
    mounting hardware.
    A diamond shaped RAM mount cover plate is provided for those wanting to utilize other mounting methods.
    The mount locks the Icom IC-7100 control head to the mount with three screws (provided) which thread into the mounting holes on the bottom of the control head.
    The mount is intended for use with the
    RAM-B-238U
    1-inch ball mount for full articulation and positioning. See the photograph for an example of how my vehicle is set up with two 1-inch ball joints and a short arm for exceptional flexibility and adjustable movement. RAM makes mounting options for nearly any application. I use
    ProClip
    bases because they mount in a vehicle without any damage at all. Existing vehicle structures are used for secure attachment.
    Alternatively, a mount cover (see picture) for the RAM diamond shaped mount receiver is provided. The machine screws and nuts for securing this are not provided. This cover will provide a smooth, flat surface for you to create a different mounting point such as 3M heavy duty mounting tape. Please assure whatever alternative method you use to mount the radio is secure when exposed to vehicle vibrations or accidental impacts.
    The mount is made of ABS plastic for more strength, stability and heat tolerance in vehicle use.
