Seymour Mann Porcelain Doll TAFFY in box with COA
Taffy is an 18” tall Seymour Mann porcelain dressed doll. She comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is one of a limited edition from the Seymour Mann Connoisseur Doll Collection. She is in excellent, like-new condition. Never played with, and always kept in a locked display cabinet. Purchased new in 1997.
Her head, chest, hands, lower legs and feet are hand-painted porcelain. Her clothes are hand sewn to accurately represent valuable historic collectors dolls. She has realistic green-glass eyes and beautiful long and thick blond hair that was never brushed or played with. Her lipstick matches the dress color. The dress is made of a velvet-like material along with satin trim on the collar, wrist and skirt. Her hat is of the same material with two satin roses in the front on top. She has white satin bloomers and lace-like stockings and leather boots with a pearl décor on the straps. She wears a pearl necklace.
She did not come with a doll stand but I have included the one on which she was displayed. She has been kept in a dust-free and glass-enclosed locked doll cabinet, in a non-smoking home. She comes with her original doll box, which is in good condition with only a couple of minor tears at two of the corners. She comes with a hand tag showing her name, a signed certificate of authenticity, record of her name, doll number and series number, and the Seymour Mann tag describing the doll collection.
